Everything you need to know before your dog’s first stay at the ranch.

BOARDING AT THE RANCH

At the moment, we’re keeping our group at a maximum of 14 dogs. Every dog is personally overseen by Alejandro, so the dynamic stays calm and balanced for everyone.

Your dog will head outside several times throughout the day, in groups matched by character and energy level — so a mellow dog isn’t sharing space with a rowdy one. They have ample space to run and play, with shaded areas available for when they need a break from the Texas sun. We’re also actively building out new ramps and games to keep things fun and enriching. All outdoor time is always supervised. In between, dogs rest comfortably in their own indoor space.

Neither. Each dog stays in their own individual ranch-style stall — think spacious, private, and comfortable, the kind you’d find in a horse barn. Your dog keeps the same stall day and night, so they always have a familiar space to retreat to. Every stall is air-conditioned and comes with an elevated dog bed. No cages, no kennel runs.

Absolutely — you’ll hear from us via text, WhatsApp, and Instagram stories throughout the stay. We share photos and videos so you can see exactly how your dog is doing. No news isn’t always good news when you’re a pet parent, so we stay proactive.

Health & safety

All dogs must be current on Rabies, DHPP (distemper/parvo), and Bordetella (kennel cough) before arriving. Leptospirosis is highly recommended. Please bring proof of vaccination from your vet at drop-off, or send it to us ahead of time.

It depends on the situation. Minor issues — a small scrape, an upset stomach — we handle on-site and keep you informed. For anything more serious, your dog’s safety comes first: we act immediately and do our best to reach you in real time, but we won’t wait if quick action is needed.

In most cases, yes. As long as you provide clear instructions and the medication in its original labeled container, we’ll take care of it. If you have any doubt about a specific medication or dosage routine, just reach out before booking and we’ll let you know.

PRICING AND POLICIES

We keep it simple — one flat 24-hour rate per dog, regardless of size. Drop off at 8 AM, pick up by 8 AM the next day — that’s one day. No separate boarding vs. daycare pricing, no confusing fee structures. Dogs with behavioral challenges such as aggression may have a different rate given the additional care and expertise involved. Contact us for current rates and availability.

Yes — families boarding more than one dog receive a multi-dog discount. Get in touch for details.
