"THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE TO MODIFY YOUR DOG'S BEHAVIOR, NO MATTER ITS AGE OR PAST"

About us

A veteran of the oil and gas industry, Alejandro Romero has long dreamt of dedicating his work to dog rehabilitation. After finding Nacho (male boxer) and Tana (female boxer) on the streets of Midland, TX, Alejandro responsibly and diligently attempted to find their owners. After his search yielded no results, he adopted them both into his family, carefully rehabilitating Nacho’s aggression and Tana’s anxiety. A few years later, Alejandro discovered Coyo (male Carolina dog) wandering the streets of Houston, TX. After his owner was not found, Alejandro welcomed Coyo into his growing pack.

Born out of founder Alejandro Romero’s lifelong passion for working with dogs, Pupsties – a name chosen by Alejandro’s children – was established in 2021. Using a unique approach that focuses on a dog’s needs and perspective first, Pupsties concentrates on dog psychology rather than training or obedience school. A family-owned small business, Pupsties pulls from Alejandro’s background of rehabilitating his own dogs, as well as those of family and friends. Through Pupsties, Alejandro is eager to share his knowledge with other dog lovers.
